Hi there,

In the past i always used trade scripts wich where trading based on prod. now with this script that ratio and capped thing is new for me, could somebody please explain these things to me since i got the feeling that im oversending some trades

for example;

ratio 130%
cap at 150%

does this mean that the script wont return more than 150% ? or how does it work

please help me out since i started feeding my site already and dont wanna feed it for a whole month.

i aslo see that my script has hourly returns at 177% is this normal i mean when i set a ratio at 150% it should stop there and start with the next site since im also trading with a few bigger sites wich dont get enough hits back as their return ratio is only 88% and that are the ones that i need to grow

please explain

You are trading on prod. But prod is multiplied with ratio. So when you set average ratio high you will put more emphasis on prod, and with low average ratio you put less emphasis on prod. You can use ratio to boost certain trades. Give them a bit higher ratio than the rest and they should move upwards in your outlist.

Cap is the maximum you will return to a trade. But you send to trades in the outlist for 1 minute before outlist is updated. If a trade gets in the top position on your outlist it can get quite a few hits in 1 minute (if you have a lot of traf). That way return for some smaller trades may be a bit higher than cap.

thats about correct :-)

as for cap - yes, if you have cap 150%, script wont return more than 150% from incomming. eg 100hits in means no more than 150hits out.

hope this helps.

as for trade - script trades more on "effect" combined productivity with return effect - meaning more productive trades that send in more hits compared to other trades will get higher priority and more return.

modifying "ratio" will effectivly compensate productivity - meaning if you change by 10%, you will have effect like if trade were 10% more productive and cause script to return more traffic. keep in mind that script calculates return priorities between trades by relative effect value and changing for example ratio parameter by just 10% in one or other way will cause immediate effect :-)

actually, imho script works best just out of the box as it is, for TGP sites with content only thing you might want to tweak is cap - I usually have it set to 180% and on CJ sites 150% default will do well. I do increase ratios by 10-15% to trades that "I know have lots of traffic and has potential very good growth capabilities"
