Yup, Mysql seems to be down on 2 sites I have on 205.177.122.82

I've icq'd Mat and Andy, but they're both offline right now. Haven't seen Andy around for a while now, but I know he gets SMS messages from a monitoring program when processes die.

I have messaged them both and tried to call andy on the phone, but he has a unlisted number.

My site has crashed been down now for over 5hrs :banghead:

Same here. MySql down for over 5 hours. Dammit, it's time to look for a trade script that doesn't use sql. This is the second time within a week sql crashes.

Also I am investigating today what the problem is with mysql on that server.

Okay, so

1) I've traced the problem and I hope prevented that from happening again

2) I've wrote a script which periodically checks whether SQL is available and if it's not it tries to restart it.
