anyone have a script for building galleries from templates?

a script that can build a massive amount of static galleries from templates?

I'm interested in taking free sponsor content and building my own galleries for tgp, avs and free sites etc...

interesting, but more than i want to pay.

Hmm, I think I may have some scraps that maybe usable from an old avs builder program I have... I'll post the results on that search.

i have found a new little custom made windows application that may do everything i need it to do as far as duplicating galllery templates and content to make them into full galleries...

I may share if it proves useful

image folio will do it, but it uses cgi and the urls to the galleries also end in .cgi, so they probably wouldnt be accepted...

It is a little cusotm bit that somebody gave me this morning..I've yet to test to see what it can actually do though. In th esample it has it takes the tokens and replaces them with directory of photos...while making thumbs and what not...

I already got one of those, I thought it was a pc not server one you had come across.

yeah it is a pc one, that'ws why i haven't tested it at all yet.

They're ok for making square thumbs, but even then you can get some weird thumbs cropped if the original pics aren't of the same ratio.

I really like Arles web page generator for that. But if its any good, I wouldn't mind taking a look.

thats cool..the only problem i have with the template sytle of galleries is the thumbs are croped in a funny fashion.

They don't look nearly as good as th eones that somebody does by hand.

Yep, but with arles I can make 300 galleries in a couple of hours, so its ok

yeah, that is definitely ok :)

when you can churn them out like that and get them up on your own hosting that is good stuff.

I'm going to do that shortly
