Well, I should have a transaction go through on purchasing an old pay site that needs to be re-invigorated. I'm thinking of going with ccbill, and then perhaps using another processor as a back-up.

So, right now I'm feeling pretty okay about it :)

I'm not going to be relying heavily on affiliates, b/c I just don't have the time and resources to offer them.

getting your own mercant account is the best idea

ideally, I don't want to be bothered with customer service etc...

I need to get to a certain size then i think i will try to get an adult account through a cypriot bank.

You pretty much need to be doing 100k a month in volume to get a adult mercant account nowdays. :(

Not many banks left doing them.

it depends on where you are, and what type of structure you have to your site.

yeah, but banks are different depending on the region that they are in...

in the u.s. it is easier to get an adult merchant account, but charge back limits are harder...in th eeu it is harderr to get an account..but on more favorable chargeback terms...

yea there are no banks right now that want to deal with new low volume adult sites.

not worth it for them it seems.

yep, the fucked up part is they sometimes want 1 year of operating history on an EXISTING merchant account.

which is like retarded.

What about a small site via ccbill, must be a lot less than 100k?

nope unless they have changed it, eu billing companies are in a differnet region and have different rules.

thats why veretol and ccbilleu (last i checked, have no fees)

I don't have any paysites so I'm out of my depth. But $750 seems a good deal
